New Internet marketing tools are coming online each and every day. Why should you care? Mainly because these new marketing tools can have a dramatic impact on your online traffic, leads and sales. And as Internet marketing grows more and more lucrative, it is becoming more competitive each day, so staying aware of what’s happening has become vital to your online success. You must connect your content with these sites. This is very simple to do since social media sites use tags, which are more or less simple keywords that help classify content and links. If you’re using the popular WordPress blog software, each category will be considered a tag.

One of the easiest ways I have found to tap into the whole social media bandwagon is to put the Addthis button on your webpages and let your visitors bookmark your content for you.

In case you’re wondering if this button works, I recently received 70,000 visitors to one of my sites in one day from these social media sites. Granted most of this traffic is transitory and not permanent – the huge traffic numbers will only last as long as your links/bookmarks are on the front pages of these popular sites.

But where there is smoke, you can make fire.

6. Blogs RSS Feeds

Likewise, you must have a blog and RSS Feed associated with your site or product. It is vital that you take advantage of this technology to get your content broadcasted across the web and around the world.

RSS is only simple code that syndicates your content to all interested parties; it originally stood for “Rich Site Summary” and was a way of summarizing your content and broadcasting it. Most people now refer to RSS as Really Simple Syndication. You need a “newsreader” or aggregator such as Newsgator, Google Reader, My Yahoo! or Feed Demon to access all your feeds.

7. Expert Marketing

Another effective way to market online or off is to promote/prove yourself as an expert in your chosen field. Creating articles, ebooks, websites on a subject that interests you will make you an expert. Once you gain credibility as an expert, your marketing will become much easier.

Some obvious places to help build this credibility would be Ezinearticles, SelfGrowth, Ideamarketers… I have found these places are excellent for getting your name and your content noticed.

8. Long Tail Niche Marketing

One of the most effective ways to market online is to use long tail keywords in your niche market. This simply means instead of targeting very general and very competitive keywords, you target less competitive long tail keywords in a smaller niche market.

I have found this tactic especially good for affiliate marketing, and the trick is to find the exact long tail phrase someone is using in the search engines and then construct content/url to match it. I find Brad Callen’s Keyword Elite software program extremely helpful in finding those long tail keywords.

9. Guru Fast-track

One of the fastest and quickest ways to earn large amounts online is to hook up with big marketing GURUs and use their huge contact lists. If you have a high quality info product, then JVs (joint ventures) with these savvy marketers can be a very viable option for you to try.

These marketing gurus or experts are valuable marketing tools you can use to your advantage. Granted, their aggressive marketing methods do turn many people off, but there’s no denying their methods do work.

10. Micro-List Marketing

Micro-List Building is one of the most effective online marketing tools you can use. Quite frankly, I have found building a large opt-in list is not the real key to online wealth but instead creating small micro lists for each of your promoted products to be much more effective. You can have hundreds, even thousands of these different micro-lists. Use an unlimited autoresponder program like Aweber to handle and manage all these lists.

Studies have shown interested customers may not buy on the first visit, that it may take up to six or seven reminders. So keeping in contact with an interested customer, one who is looking and in the right mindset to buy, will definitely increase your sales.

Here, rather then the hard-sell, the emphasis should be on collecting contacts in order to give them helpful informative content on the product they’re interested in buying. Supplying quality content should be your main goal; let the selling take care of itself. If you get the first part right, the sale will come naturally.

In conclusion, you must remember when dealing with such a complex creature as Internet marketing, in most cases there’s no one single marketing tool that will do the job. Instead you need a whole orchestra of tools working together in order to make your online marketing the most effective. 1. Mind-set

A very important and often neglected aspect of bodybuilding by the novices despite it being one of the most important ingredient in success.

A lot of novices fail by only seeing bodybuilding as a short term goal to improve your physique. This lack of desire will almost always lead to failure. You need to forget the thought that you need to get in shape by any certain date or time. You need to see it as a lifestyle if you want to be successful.

You need to accept the shape that your body is in and decide to change your life in order to achieve your objectives. You need to accept bodybuilding as a long term plan, so that you do not become disheartened if it takes a period of time for you to improve. After all if it was easy to do, everyone would be doing it.

You need to set realistic goals for yourself.  As a beginner you shouldn’t be saying that you want to lose 30 pounds of fat and gain 20 pounds of muscle in a two month period.  It’s not likely that it’s going to happen, and yet over and over again newcomers get this thought in their heads and then become discourage when they can’t achieve it.  You need to wake up and forget the belief that the health and fitness industry have tried to convince everyone is possible.

You need to be prepared for a lot of hard work and sacrifice if you want to see it as something that you can love and as a chore.  You will begin to see bodybuilding as something that separates you from the lazy people who can’t be bothered to workout or bother to ask for advice.  As soon as you view it as a chore you are setting yourself up to fail.

2.Objective Setting

Your first step is to honestly assess your physique. Then you can decide what you need to focus on most of all.

Lose fat, build muscle. You need to figure out how fat you are, and how small your muscles are, so that you can properly determine where your priorities lie. This is an extremely important step so that you can set some properly attainable targets for yourself.

Keep in mind that or fat loss, the more muscle you build, the more calories your body will be able to burn at rest (approx 50 cals per hour as opposed to 5 cals per hour of fat) and while exercising a Ib of muscle burns roughly 10x as many calories as a Ib of fat (approx 70 cals per hour compared to 7 cals per hour for fat). Therefore, if you can add an extra 14Ibs of lean muscle to your body you will burn an extra 1200 calories per day. That adds up to 8400 calories per week (remember that 1 Ib fat is 3600 calories) so that’s almost the equivalent of an additional 2Ib of fat per week that your body burns off just by adding the extra muscle. This will mean that you will have developed a much faster metabolic rate that you would have without that muscle.

You need to set realistic goals for yourself e.g. to lose 10Ibs of fat in 5 weeks and gain 5 Ibs of lean muscle mass. It is a misconception that it is physically more difficult to lose fat than to build muscle.  Although it is possible to lose 4 or 5 Ibs of fat in a week, it is not a good ides, as you are likely to lose muscle mass as well. It is impossible to gain 5 pounds of muscle in a week.

As you become more familiar with the exercises, you can begin to setting lifting targets for yourself.  Eg. adding 20kg to your bench press in a month, in order to help gauge your overall progress.

3. Training Weights

You will gain the majority of your lean muscle through you weights routine.  If you want to make consistent and long term gains you need to make it a priority to have a well structured routine from the very beginning.

Joining a good gym, that offers a well rounded introduction, from knowledgeable staff is the best starting point.  You should find a gym with a wide range of both free weights and equipment, that will offer you the ability to work your way up to the larger, heavy weights as you progress.

As a beginner you have to not allow yourself to be intimidated if you are training alongside more experienced bodybuilders.  Most bodybuilders tend to be very helpful when encouraging newcomers to the sport that they love.  They will not be looking down there noses at you simply because you are new, as everyone had to start somewhere.  So if you are unsure of how to correctly do an exercise, then ask a more experienced lifter for some advice and pointers.

It is a good idea to learn how to use the free weights as soon as you can.  They allow you to have a much more effective workout of your muscles than the machines will, as you will have a wider range of natural movements.  Free weights will also stimulate more of the supporting fibers in your muscle than machines will.

You need to get your form right.  It is one of , if not the, most important aspect to your free weight routine.  Poor form is very common and it is a major hindrance to you being able to progress towards your goals.  Do not sacrifice your form in order to lift more weight as in the end it will do far more harm than good.  You will be able to develop muscles at a much faster pace , and lessen the odds of an injury if you take the time and do your exercises properly.  As you move forward with your perfect form you will eventually find that you are able to lift more weight, so just take your time and keep your form.

Split your workouts up into major muscle groups.

chest, biceps, triceps, back, traps, legs, calves, shoulders, abs. Train each of these groups once a week and your body will have plenty of time to recover and rest. Your muscles  grow when you rest after all.

A nice 4 day split that will not kill you is
- Chest/Triceps/Abs
- Back/Biceps
- Shoulders/Traps
- Legs/Calves

As a good rule aim for 9-12 sets for Large Muscle groups (Chest/Back/Legs) followed by a smaller muscle group for 6-8 sets (Biceps/Triceps/Shoulders/Abs/Calves). Take it easy on your biceps, they are a much smaller muscle than the triceps so they should be kept at the lower end of the set range.

Another good rule of thumb is to work at a weight that allows you to do 6-8 reps while keeping perfect form or until you can’t hold good form anymore. At the point where you can do a set of 8 comfortably, add some more weight. 6-8 reps will provide you with the best compromise between hypertrophy gains (muscle growth) & strength gains.

4. Rest

This is extremely important.  You should try and give your muscles a week’s time to rest in order to allow them to recover and grow.  Your muscles do the majority of their growing while you rest, which is why it’s important that you train each muscle group once a week.

Overtraining a muscle group can cause catabolysis which means that it will start using up your body’s protein source, your muscle.  A lot of body builders tend to over train when they are just starting out and are very enthusiastic.  Doing so means that while you may see some muscle growth, it won’t be nearly as much as you would see if you took the proper amount of rest time in between workouts.

Always get a minimum of 8hrs of sleep every night.  Your muscles grow while you sleep, and sleeping less than 7hrs can put you at risk for catabolysis of the muscles, which would mean you’d end up losing your hard earned muscles.

5. Training ¨C Cardio

Cardio training is very important for fat loss and for cardiovascular fitness.  Your cardio workout should ideally be on a separate workout session from weights so that your muscle glycogen is used while training in order to fuel your muscles.  Performing a cardio workout before your weights could reduce the potency of the weights session.

Cardio with the goal of fat loss should be aimed at 65% Max Heart Rate (MHR) for 30-40 mins and should be done before breakfast so that your body taps into it’s own fat stores in order to fuel itself.. If you push yourself harder or further than this your body will begin to take protein from your muscles and this will result in muscle loss.

6. Diet

Eat healthy.  Try and eat every 3hrs in order to keep your body fully stocked with protein and to provide your body with a positive balance of nitrogen and maintain a high metabolic rate.

Muscle growth – High Protein, High Complex Carbohydrates, Moderate Fat (good fats ¨C flax seed oil, rape seed oil, etc)

Fat Loss – High Protein, Lower Complex Carb, Very low simple carb, Lower Good Fat, No Saturated Fat.

In order to lose fat you need to be using up more calories than you are consuming and to gain muscle you have to raise the calories to a higher level than you would use.  This will lead to a slight fat gain, but with some slight adjustment you will easily find where your level is.  A 200lb person should need 200g of protein in their diet per day while bodybuilding.

Always remember to get protein in you before you go to bed, right when you wake up and immediately after you lift weights.  This when your body needs protein the most.

Pharmacies are stocked full of various items in their foot care aisle that propose to treat foot conditions. While many of these products are valid and work fine, the shelves are stocked with others who have little to no effectiveness in treating the conditions they advertise to help with. Products continuously change, and therefore this article simply seeks to discuss general product categories that are related to foot care. These general categories include products for athlete’s foot, warts, nail fungus, food support, corn and callus padding, and dry skin. Each category will be discussed separately, and general recommendations for their use will be given.

Athletes foot infection is one of the most common foot ailments that one presents to the pharmacy for treatment. This infection is caused by microscopic fungus that invades the skin. It is very common, and difficult to avoid. However, it generally responds quickly to treatment. Numerous anti-fungal medications have been available for years to battle this infection, including tolnaftate, miconazole, and clotrimazole. They generally all work against the different types of fungus that cause athlete’s foot infection. Most of the over-the-counter preparations are in cream or spray form. Treatment twice a day is necessary for two to four weeks to completely eradicate the infection, although one major brand containing terbinafine may work in a week. Although the author prefers the cream form, any of these products should do, as long as the primary ingredient is not promoted as herbally based (such as tea tree oil), as there is a lack of scientific proof of herbal effectiveness in skin infections. Infections not fully resolved by these medications may need medical evaluation and possibly prescription level medication.

Wart treatment at home is often unsuccessful, and therefore the use of products from the pharmacy for this condition may be unhelpful. Warts are due to an infection by a skin virus, and in general this infection is passed over by the body’s immune system. Treatment is designed around irritating the surrounding skin to create inflammation, which eventually attracts the immune system and stimulates an immune response to destroy the virus. Numerous chemical agents, typically containing salicylic acid, are available to use for this purpose. Freezing also causes the same reaction through cold damage. Unfortunately, these is a false perception that these treatments actually kill the virus directly. They do not, as the virus is spread wide and deep beyond the visible wart tissue. The acid and freezing products in the store are generally weak for safety purposes. Although they can be effective for hand warts, the thicker skin of the feet makes these products of limited value. They are helpful when used in conjunction with medical treatment by a podiatrist or dermatologist, but on their own are often too weak to be the primary treatment.

Nail fungus cure products have recently exploded their presence in stores, all offering relief from the cosmetically displeasing infection. Unfortunately, there are very few topical nail fungus medications that can penetrate through to the skin surface underneath the nail where the fungus resides, and none of these are available in a retail setting. These products can control fungus in the skin around the nail, but do not treat the nail fungus itself and are generally useless.

Shoe inserts are numerous and widely available in pharmacies, with each style having their own role to play. Most of these inserts are made of foam, soft composites, or gel. In all honesty, these inserts provide very little in the way of true structural support, as they mostly collapse and deform when body weight is placed on them. This is even true of the ones that require stepping on a ‘scanner’ to select an insert. Some brands do have models that use thin plastic plates within the padding for more support, but even this is marginal at best. Overall, these inserts provide increased cushioning within a shoe, which can drastically improve a shoe’s comfort level. However, one should not expect much in the way of real arch support. The least helpful of these are the gel inserts, which provide only a little more support than the shoe’s own sockliner.

Padding is also plentiful, and in general foot pads work well to reduce pressure to corns and calluses. They can be made of adhesive backed or self-sticking foam, felt, or silicone gel, and are formed in a wide range of shapes and sizes. In general, doughnut-shaped pads work well for calluses under the ball of the foot, while elastic sleeve pads with gel underneath work well for corns on top of the toes. Toe separator pads help reduce pressure for corns in between the toes, and metatarsal pads provide limited pressure reduction under the bones in the ball of the foot. These are all recommended, although the author strongly discourages the use of medicated pads that contain skin-damaging acids.

Finally, moisturizers are available in hundreds of brand names and preparations. All of these products generally work the same, although the ingredients may differ. In general, herbs and extracts are filler material and marketing gimmicks, and offer no real improvement in the effectiveness of the moisturizer. The chemical forming the base of the product is what really creates the moisturizing effect, and it needs to be applied twice a day to be effective. Although store labels may differentiate between hand, body, or foot cream, they will all work equally on all surfaces of skin. Most people can benefit from the standard preparations containing water, glycerin, petrolatum, or various oils. More substantial dryness or cracking skin needs lactic acid or urea as the base ingredient, and serious cases need prescription concentrations of these chemicals.

As one can see, the wealth of options in the pharmacy for foot care can be confusing. Many products are quite helpful in certain foot conditions, while others are a waste of money. When selecting foot care products, especially medications, look at the active ingredient before purchasing, and look online to compare the experiences of others. Another good rule of thumb is to work at a weight that allows you to do 6-8 reps while keeping perfect form or until you can’t hold good form anymore. At the point where you can do a set of 8 comfortably, add some more weight. 6-8 reps will provide you with the best compromise between hypertrophy gains (muscle growth) & strength gains.

4. Rest

This is extremely important.  You should try and give your muscles a week’s time to rest in order to allow them to recover and grow.  Your muscles do the majority of their growing while you rest, which is why it’s important that you train each muscle group once a week.
